Choose the TSB60 when a 60-inch-class rear PTO snow blower suits your tractor’s tire width and clearing route, and your tractor can power and carry the complete setup. Consider turns, gate openings and snow load as well as coverage. If tractor capacity or available space favors a smaller attachment, compare the Farmry TSB48 before choosing by width alone.

Not necessarily. The TSB60 requires 18-45 PTO HP, which is not the same as engine horsepower. Check the tractor manufacturer’s rated PTO output and its ability to supply 540 RPM at the PTO. Meeting the power requirement does not by itself confirm hitch, lifting or driveline compatibility.

No. 715 lb is the blower’s net weight, not a minimum safe lift rating. Evaluate lift capacity at the actual load position, accounting for the installed configuration, any quick hitch or accessories and required ballast. Not in every condition. Snow depth, density and available PTO power determine the load. Reduce travel speed or use additional passes when the blower struggles; do not exceed its 540 RPM PTO speed to compensate. Wet snow can still clog the chute. Before clearing a blockage, disengage the PTO, shut off the engine, remove the key and wait for all movement to stop. Use a clean-out tool, never your hands.

No. Do not use the blower housing as a dozer blade. Let the auger and impeller process snow instead of forcing the machine into a pile. If it cannot advance without overloading, stop and reassess the approach rather than using the tractor to push harder.

Yes. The optional hydraulic chute rotator kit adjusts chute direction while keeping the deflector manual. The complete hydraulic rotator and deflector kit also adds hydraulic adjustment of the deflector angle. Both kits are sold separately. Confirm your tractor’s available hydraulic connections and coupler compatibility before choosing the configuration.
