Ran it on fresh cut pine and cedar—fed pretty well without much clogging. Occasionally a thicker limb slowed down the disc, but easing back on feed pressure fixed it. Not flawless but definitely capable. A few bark strands wrapped around the shaft, so pay attention.

I was torn between this 15 HP disc chipper and a smaller model. Farmry’s rep walked me through what kind of limbs it could handle and how frequently I'd need to fuel it. Their breakdown made sense, and I appreciated the no‑pressure guidance. Still had to weigh cost vs. output, but felt informed enough to move forward.

Tried the chipper on a mix of green and dried-out branches from a storm cleanup. It handled most 3-4” limbs fine, but you’ve got to let the disc catch up if you feed too fast. Gravity feed works well once you get the angle right. Definitely faster than hand-sawing everything down.

One of the blades chipped after hitting a buried nail in a brush pile. I contacted Farmry and they had the replacement in stock—shipped it out within a few days. Swapping the blade wasn’t hard with basic tools. Stuff happens on the farm, but it’s good knowing parts are easy to get.

It's not light, but the handle and wheels make it manageable to move around solo. I store it in my barn and just back it into place. One thing—make sure the tires stay aired up, mine were a little soft out of the box.
