HSG24PRO 3-Point Hydraulic PTO Stump Grinder for 25–60 HP Tractors | Built-In Control Valve

I've been working on clearing my land and had about forty or so stumps to start with. Decided to purchase this grinder as it only requires one rear hydraulic remote, and has its own control valve to operate swing and up and down motion. I have a Kubota M62 TLB and it seems as though this grinder was made for my tractor. I removed the backhoe and connected the grinder using the three point hitch. I connected the hydraulic lines to the existing hydraulic ports used to operate the backhoe. Since the seat on the M62 swivels to use the backhoe, I was able to grind the stumps while seated. The tractor has "crawl mode", so I could slowly move the tractor as needed without leaving the seat. Have to say I really like this grinder! I was surprised at how heavy built it is, and the thickness of the steel. It was larger than expected. I ground down the forty stumps in no time, and I have pretty rocky soil. The grinder teeth have held up well and are ready for more stumps. I would highly recommend this grinder. I did a lot of research before purchasing it, and in my opinion it's the best one on the market for the money.

Everything was well-greased and ready to go. The build quality on the welds and the powder coating is impressive for this price point. Fits my Cat 1 Quick Hitch perfectly. I run a small landscape business in Ohio. I looked at the big name brands (Woodland, etc.) but the lead times were crazy and the prices were $1k higher for the same specs. This HSG24PRO is just as rugged. The 65-degree swing arc is wide enough that I don't have to constantly reposition the tractor. It saves me a ton of time on jobsites. If you're on the fence, just get it. It pays for itself after 4 or 5 big stump removals.

I upgraded from an older manual swing grinder and the difference is night and day. Having the control valve on the arm of the grinder is a game changer. I can stand where I have the best visibility of the stump instead of trying to look over my shoulder from the tractor seat. The slip clutch on the PTO shaft gives me peace of mind when I hit a big root. Farmry's support was also very responsive when I had a question about the hydraulic fittings.
